How much weed can you buy in Oklahoma?

Straight answer

3 ounces of flower, 1 ounce of concentrate and 72 ounces of edibles in one transaction, plus 6 mature plants and 6 seedlings. The caps stack, so one bag can hold all of them, and it matches what you can carry. You can keep 8 ounces at home, and visitors with a 30-day license get the same.

Separate caps that stack

Part of our Oklahoma dispensary guide, this page covers how much you can walk out with. The cap is written for a single transaction, and it mirrors what you can carry.

Since June 1, 2025, flower is sold only in sealed packages from half a gram to 3 ounces, and weighing it out at the counter ended November 1, 2025. Topicals have their own 72 ounce cap.

Build a bag

Pick your card, then tap items into the bag. Flower and concentrate each have their own cap and they stack. Edibles count by package weight, 72 ounces, so a few gummy packs never come close.

Your bag is empty.

Two stores, tracking and going over

Every sale is checked against the state's verification system and logged in the tracking system with your name and license number. We haven't found a rule against a second store the same day, or a running total across stores. The cap is per sale, and what's on you can't top 3 ounces.

Without a card, up to 1.5 ounces with a medical condition you can state is a misdemeanor with a fine of no more than $400 and no jail. Otherwise it's up to a year and $1,000, plus a $100 trauma-care fee. We haven't found a penalty written for a patient over the caps, and the protections only cover amounts within them.

Home grow, sharing and caregivers

  • Home grow. 6 mature plants and 6 seedlings, on property you own or with the owner's written okay, out of view from the street. No butane, propane or CO2 extraction at home.
  • No sharing. Patients can't sell or hand it to anyone, even another patient. A first offense is a $400 fine, a second $1,000.
  • Small shares. Giving less than 3 grams free to someone without a card isn't prosecuted, but it's a $400 fine.
  • Caregivers. They can hold the combined limits of the patients they serve.
  • Cities. They can let patients go over the state caps, never under them.

Every other state's cap, drawn in eighths, is in our dispensary purchase limits by state guide.
