How delivery works
Stores take orders in person, by phone or online, through their own site or a third party. This page of our Missouri dispensary guide covers the rest.
- Approval first. A store needs the state's okay before it delivers, and a licensed transport company can drive for it.
- At the door. Show a valid, unexpired photo ID proving you're 21, plus a patient card for medical orders. The drop is logged in the state system.
- Paying. Any time up to the hand-off. An unpaid order is capped at two people at one address a day.
- Your data. Ordering sites can only use it for the order. Ways to pay are in paying at Missouri dispensaries.
Can it come here?
Tap a way to get the order. Only licensed stores and licensed transport companies can bring it.
YesYour home
Yes. Any address you choose where possession is legal, after an ID check at the door.
DependsHotel or Airbnb
It can come there. Where you're staying decides whether you can use it, and owners can ban it.
NoSchool or campus
No. Orders can't go anywhere possession is barred, and school grounds are.
NoFederal property
No. Possession isn't legal on federal property, so neither is a drop-off.
DependsDrive-through window
Yes where the state approved it. The hand-off goes through a drawer or tube, on camera.
NoCurbside pickup
Not allowed. The drive-through window is the only car option.
DependsOrdering through an app
Third-party sites can take the order and can't use your data for anything else. The store or a licensed transport company brings it.
DependsLate at night
Depends on the city. We haven't found a state rule on delivery hours, and University City stops store deliveries at 10 PM.
NoGas station THC
Not regulated and not tested by a licensed lab. From November 12, 2026, unlicensed hemp THC sales are a felony.
