How delivery works
Licensed delivery services buy from licensed stores and bring orders to customers, and some stores hold the delivery license too. This page of our Minnesota dispensary guide covers what happens between the order and the door.
- Order and pay. Online, in an app or by phone, with your name, address, phone, email and birthday.
- An unmarked car. Delivery vehicles can't show cannabis names or leaf images, and the products can't be visible.
- In person, to you. Photo ID from the law's list and a signature on the manifest, which records your ID type and number.
- Fees. Delivery charges are taxed like the product, and some orders add the state's 50-cent retail delivery fee. Ways to pay are in paying at Minnesota dispensaries.
